“ We had a small table for two until they could get us to a booth. CSR was excellent. We had lattes that were beautifully made and some biscuits and gravy with bacon bits. ”
“ I have been going here since I was in college, I used to live at Axletree apartments on the top floor and this place was only 3-4 minutes away so I used to always get coffee or tea in the mornings with a light snack like Avocado Toast or an egg sandwich and come back at night have have a few drinks with friends and buy up the pastries and scones when they were on sale at the end of the night. The old workers have always treated me very good here. It is under new ownership now and has a nice sports vibe to it. The place itself is very clean and there is lots of seating and even a little section with a couch and table you can sit and have a drink at as well as a fridge with non alcoholic drinks you can buy. There is now a small sized pool table in the back that cost .50 cents per game which I always go to with friends every single time I am there. There are several mounted big screen TV’s mounted for football/basketball and a variety of other things. There are a few arcade style game machines in the back and a little station you can put money in to play a unique song you may like. Slot machine section in the back as well if that is your type of thing. They have good and affordable food if you wanted to stop by for lunch and a good and affordable little menu for “Bar Bites”. They also always replace new chalk for the pool cues. A few of the cues are broken/snapped or warn down which I am sure they will replace sooner or later but that isn’t a huge issue. On certain nights they have small game nights or live music which is pretty neat because they always have catchy music. They have a few benches outside and a dedicated smoking section with a ok a place to ash and throw your cigarette butts away. They have unique events on special occasions which gets the community involved and people have even hosted birthdays/retirement parties here from what I’ve seen. It’s a very laid back bar and I’ve met a handful of amazing people from the community here. The bartenders always make an effort to remember names and peoples preferred drink. Every time I am there they know I am eyeing that pool table to see if it’s open which is kind of funny since that’s what I’m always there for. Brandy, Lauren and Miguel are all hard working and wonderful people as well as phenomenal bartenders. ”
“ EDIT: They are no longer doing Karaoke Things may be biased since I was there for karaoke and had a great time, but the place was great and I had a great time. KJ Amicus was very chill, good vibes. I didnt get anything to eat so cannot comment on the food, but peeps had tots and wings at the table and they looked good. Overall, a fun Saturday night, come on by, hear Johnny 5 kill it on the mic! ”
“ I can't rate the food because I did not have it. The service was wonderful & so was the atmosphere. If you want a quiet place to read & drink or something this is the place to go. Or you can sit at the bar & talk with the locals or bartenders. Everyone is so friendly in Milwaukie. :) ”
